Established in 2010 the Red Ceilings Press has now published over 60 eBook titles and 100 limited edition A6 (postcard sized) chapbooks. Our eBooks are available to download for free, because we are nice like that.
We love doing our chapbooks and that's really our main thing but we also publish the occassional eBook.
We look for small collections, sequences, off shoots, prose poems, stories and words that make us smile. That's it.
Submissions
We are open for submissions for our chapbook series between March 21 2024 - June 21 2024.
We hope that you are familiar enough wth our work to have a sense of whether your style of writing fits and we advise you to check one or two of our chapbook titles over before submitting your work for print. Our books are in a small format so please consider this when sending poems of longer line length as it probably won't work and we really hate disappointing people.
Authors should preferably have a previous publication history. So, please mention where your work has appeared in your submission email and also provide a brief biography. If accepted we will ask you to take a minimum of 20 copies of your chapbook at half price to help us to continue publishing.
Send your submissions to theredceilings@gmail.com in either doc or pdf format with SUBMISSION in the subject line. We try to respond to submissions within a month of receiving them. Please note that we only publish UK resident authors in book form at present but do accept eBook submissions from poets further afield.
